Berlin (Hamburg), Germany

Berlin is a gateway to the port city of Hamburg. Hamburg is home to over 2,000 bridges and many fine museums. The most popular shore excursions here are city tours that include a ride through the canals and a stop at the parliament building and the St. Pauli red light district. Longer tours visit the medieval towns of Moelln, Ratzeburg and Lubeck. In Berlin, step back into the city's turbulent past at the Brandenburg Gate, once closed between East and West Berlin, then reopened in 1989 when the Berlin Wall came down. View the famous sculpture of Queen Nefertiti at the Egyptian Museum, or wander among the shops and cafes of the Kurfurstendamm and Unter den Linden, two of the city's historic boulevards.
